This NEW piston kit is suitable for the following cylinders:

• ACCHYDCYL8962, Mega 1
• ACCHYDCYL8962/1, Mega 2
• ACCHYDCYL8989, Mega 3

New single action heavy duty cylinder seal, updated for 2022.  This piston can replace any previous seal on our mega cylinders.

NB: the whole piston must be replaced, do not try to swap seals over from old to new piston.  If in doubt call PLS Technical.

NB1: If the previous piston does NOT have a locking nut it will be thread-glued on.  If it does not turn off the whole cylinder should be exchanged - PLS highly recommend changing cylinders as a pair.

NB2: when changing pistons or cylinder take extra care to ensure the new cylinder stroke matches original cylinder - you may need to add or minus 10mm of spacers depending on whether a locking nut was used.
